I retired in 2006 after forty very intensive years working in engineering research and development. My experience included industry and university (a Principal Engineer at Xerox Corporation and a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto). It was all great fun but there wasn’t much time to “smell the flowers”. Appreciating life around us through photography, especially nature photography, has become a wonderful objective.

P.S.[October 10, 2023]: Recent A.I. developments in Photoshop now allow us to imaginatively transform our nature image while presenting the transformations together with the real nature image in a gif file. It's "Transformative Generative Fill"! See my new "Creative Nature" page. Great fun!
